TOP Hockey Club

Club Overview

Since its inception in 2017, TOP Hockey has offered a unique approach to minor hockey for families who want something different. TOP Hockey does things differently — offering uniquely balanced hockey programs for competitive hockey players and their families who want to play at the rep levels without having to over-invest at young ages. Our program highlights a broader shift in minor hockey that encourages families, players, and coaches to pick the program that best aligns with their philosophy and core values, while still allowing kids to play other sports and be more efficient with their time during hockey season.

Throughout our player pathway from Recreational to competitive Academy teams, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality hockey programs delivered by passionate professionals who truly care about the long-term success of your child. We believe that by doing things differently, we can offer a refreshingly positive hockey experience that provides a challenging environment for players to learn, grow, and compete at a high level.

Why Families Choose TOP

A Balanced Competitive Hockey Program

Our programs are built to provide high-quality coaching, real skill development, and a consistent weekly schedule that allows kids to play other sports and have more time in the summers.

All TOP Hockey programs feature qualified professional non-parent coaches supported by full-time Technical Staff and a full-time administrative team. Our programs are hosted at Appleby College in South Oakville, one of the premier private school campuses in all of Canada.

For Rep Teams, tryouts and coaches information will be posted in mid-February each year. Depending on the age and the level, tryouts will take place in late April or early May.
